A bit of a do - wedding at Autumn River, 20 November 2005

Our usual pattern of celebrations (usually Christmas barbeques) was disrupted in November 2005 by a slightly different variety of event. We got married, and chose the farm as our venue. It was a wonderful day, slightly windy before and after but calm for the ceremony itself. As well as being a very meaningful place for us, it was also a chance to share some of the magic of Autumn River with friends and family, some of whom had never visited before. We set up a marquee in the house block, and were married just by the magnolia in what will be our front garden.
